NEW BLOG

So, I'm loving this blog thing. It's fun. I find myself thinking about it often - surrounded by potential topics at every moment. Also dying to take pictures of everything too.

I started the new recipe blog with my sister and I'm telling you gize, it's good. We're posting things that you'd love to make for your family. I have some new ones up and coming. The best lasagna you'll ever eat, including some killer garlic bread. Then, a stir-fry that will amaze you, served with coconut rice (rice cooked in coconut milk). Srsly, you will be amazed that you can make such a thing at home. It's SO good. I'm going to copy The Pioneer Woman and take pictures of the recipes in progress, finished product, etc. For instance, the stir-fry calls for Bok Choy. Maybe I'm the only person who hadn't ever even laid eyes on it until this recipe came along, but I thought you'd appreciate a photo of Bok Choy and how I cut it up. The lasagna photos are simply to show you just how DELISHUSH it is. Homemade sauce, even. Yes you can do it.

Check it out. Martha's posted some fabulous recipes too and she has a million more up her sleeve, I know it.

I am enjoying your blogs. The recipe one looks great and your new recipes sound delicious. I am afraid that just hearing about them makes me gain weight.

I'm on it.... I won't make the lasagna tho... just because you skurred me today with your whole "I'm making my lasagna some time next week and you gize are gonna come over and eat some because it's so labor intensive that it's a shame not to share it with other people."

I can't do labor intensive. But I can eat the crap outta labor intensively prepared meals so let us know the day & time and we'll be there with our italian themed clothes on.

You are good on the cake. Just follow the recipe. And flour that cake pan like crazy and when you pull it out of the oven, invert it onto your cake plate right away. Before it cools! Otherwise it will stick and fall apart. Good luck!
